ABOUT USSince its establishment in 2002, NTU Piano Ensemble has engaged many piano enthusiasts in the university. The members have the chance to not only play solo pieces, but also perform duet and two-piano works from different eras, as well as chamber works with fellow CAC music clubs.
The Piano Ensemble has performed in numerous concerts halls such as Esplanade Recital Studio, SOTA Concert Hall, Lee Foundation Theatre, Jubilee Concert Hall, and NTU's own Nanyang Auditorium. The annual concert, Eleganza, has received warm welcome from the audience since its debut in 2005. The Piano Ensemble's activities are also directed towards the community, embracing the spirit of serving the society as an ensemble. It performed at Alexandra Hospital and nursing homes, where the pianists were exposed to an environment for them to cultivate a heart towards the community. The Piano Ensemble also organizes fund-raising concerts to raise funds for beneficiaries in Singapore |

It features the best pianists of the Ensemble playing challenging repertoires which they practice tirelessly over months, specifically concert items featuring duet piano pieces, as well as collaborative ensemble performances involving other NTU CAC clubs like Chinese Orchestra. Traditionally, Eleganza had been a full-on classical concert, from Baroque to 20th Century – played from grand pianos in concert studios with good acoustics.
